In April, the Advocacy and Strategic Alliances team supported Minority Health Month (MHM) by amplifying messages about “the importance of improving the health of racial and ethnic minority and American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities and reducing health disparities.” The MHM theme of ‘Better Health Through Better Understanding’ aligns with Aurinia’s commitment to improving health outcomes for those living with LN. The team represented Aurinia at an array of national and local events including patient education summits, community awareness events, and health equity forums focused on helping to educate communities about lupus nephritis.
