As part of our effort to support patient communities, Aurinia recently launched a Legislative Town Hall series to raise awareness of lupus nephritis (LN) in places most affected by the disease. The series is part of our commitment to establishing a consistent and meaningful presence in local communities with increased prevalence of LN. At each town hall event, a local legislator moderates an interactive discussion with a local rheumatologist or nephrologist, and a person living with LN. They have candid, eye-opening discussions about the challenges of living with LN, and the event drives action to engage in routine doctor’s visits and urine screening.
